The Rosedale Hotel - Your Premium Stay in Portree

The Rosedale Restaurant is an intimate dining room on the 1st floor with views over Portree Bay. The menu focuses on fresh, seasonal produce and local seafood, offering dishes such as fish and chips and venison burger. Breakfast is included in Bed and Breakfast rates, with made-to-order hot options and a self-serve buffet of cereals, yogurt, and pastries.

The hotel has 17 en-suite bedrooms set within a converted cluster of fisherman's houses, giving the building plenty of character and quirks. Rooms are only accessible via stairs as there is no lift, and guests should be aware of the steep and narrow staircases. Some rooms offer harbour views, while larger family rooms and twin rooms are available for groups.

The Rosedale sits directly on Portree Harbour, within walking distance of the town's shops, restaurants, and bars. Ben Tianavaig, Isle of Raasay, and the Cuillin Hill mountain range are all accessible from the hotel for day trips. Parking is limited to two free spaces on a first-come basis, with paid public lots nearby.

Family rooms are available that can comfortably accommodate larger groups, with some rooms featuring spacious layouts and king-sized beds. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast and offers kids' meals in the restaurant upon request. Due to the historic building layout, families with young children should note the lack of lift access and narrow stairs.
